If you think that the guy in the first picture looks like Joel (with the recorder and crazy glasses), you are probably right.

Yesterday we played at the Prince of Wales in the small village of Steeple Claydon. There was a soccer game on tv and apparently there were other interesting things going on as well (since there was almost no one there :-\). Anyway, there was a small crowd that probably liked our songs since we sold a few records and got to talk to a few of them afterwards.

Earlier the same day we went to BBC Oxford to record two acoustic songs for their weekly show “BBC Introducing” with Tim Bearder. Apart from recording those songs, Susanne of LEON and Joel were interviewed about the music scene in Gothenburg and how LEON found out about us. Great fun. They will play one song on Saturday (18th) and the rest will be broadcasted next week.

This day we (us and the label) spent evaluating the recording sessions and the entire process with “Scrapbook”. We also showed them a few new songs.

What do we kill time with when we’re not giging? Well, Martin is getting really good at all the racing games on Xbox while some of us tries to study…

I thought about a few things that we totaly forgot to mention. In a few days we will present the autumn tour for you. We are so excited about it! Meanwhile you can have a look at a few links that should have been presented earlier.

Yesterday we started shooting another video, this time with our good friend Niklas and his friend Alana! A piano had to be moved from one of our apartments to the set get the shoot done. We had 3 pianos to choose between, Joel G’s, Erik’s and my, which were all possible “back breakers”. But since my was a bit smaller and situated on the second floor, the choice wasn’t too hard.

The video is being partly filmed in the car garage next to the concrete bunker we would like to call our rehearsal room. We had to start off past 8 pm yesterday, since only those with keys has access to the garage after that. We thought there weren’t that many. Still some cars rolled in at eleven o´clock disturbing us during the creative process. As soon as anyone entered the garage, the lights went on for a few minutes (often during a take) and we had to start over again. Not only cars by the way. Why do people want to walk their beloved pets in a garage in the middle of the night? I´m puzzled. We also got a visit from a security guard with a flashlight and a big dog. -What are you doing down here?

Anyway, it was a long night filled with laughter, bright ideas and late hour humour!

Today part two is to take place (in just a few hours) and whoknows, we might even tell you what song it is! Stay tuned!!!

Today is the official UK release of our debut album, ’scrapbook’!!!!!!!!!!!! It is being released on the Oxfordshire based label LEON.

Well, here it is -”Dansa i Neon”- an old Swedish disco tune remade into Alibi Tomish sound and harmonies. This is the first time Alibi Tom is doing a song in swedish! The song was previously part of a longer interview broadcasted on a swedish digital tv channel earlier this year.
